Laser cutting


Clear goal
New types of laser cutting machines ensure fast and precise processing of complex outlines. The entire sheet metal production process is carried out using automated sheet metal processing where the complex outlines of the individual components are cut in modern fibre laser systems. We have two types of laser cutting machines: CO2 laser and fibre laser cutters.

Edging


Pure precision
Our four bending machines ensure that the flat blanks, in various qualities and thicknesses, are bent to the required angle. Our presses handle sheets with a length of up to 4 metres and work with a press force of max. 320 tonnes. In addition to acute to obtuse angles, sheets with a thickness of 0.75 mm to 15 mm are edged.

Order picking & Prefabrication


Proactive measures
Order picking for the individual welded assemblies is carried out using a scanning process. Depending on the size of the cut, the individual assemblies are stored in high racks or, on the open-air site, with a loading carrier in the designated storage spaces. In the prefabrication phase, we work on different workstations with equipment suited to the product and product size.

Welding


Precision & Flexibility
Depending on the application, the components are processed either by hand on a manual workstation, with a welding robot or on a manipulator. The robot welding cell masters the daily requirements of order-based just-in-time production. Fully automatic welding of different components in a batch size of 1 forms part of everyday production in Aurolzmünster.

Machining


Highest levels of automation
In addition to CNC machines with automatic tool changers and offline programming, the department also deploys machines with cycle control. Whether they are used for turning, milling, drilling, thread cutting or slotting, the SL2-controlled machines operate flexibly and ergonomically as a complete processing centre. During the process, the temperature reaches up to 1,000 degrees and a feed force of up to 2,000 kg is applied during drilling to process the material.

Painting


Individual & Versatile
Scheuch COMPONENTS aims to fulfil all of its customers’ colour requests. The water-based primer and the hardener are automatically mixed in the 2-component system in the correct mixing ratio. Depending on the requirements, different paints are applied in several layers. Complying with all legal standards, such as EN ISO 12944, Scheuch only delivers certified coatings.

Balancing


Always in motion
To prevent machine downtimes at a later date, the impellers of our centrifugal fans are balanced in a grade of G2.5. For this purpose, Scheuch COMPONENTS uses new software which takes into account the static and dynamic imbalance and which generates a comprehensively documented balancing report.

Finishing


A goal in sight
There are separate areas for our rotary valves, screw conveyors, valves and fans. With the latter product group, each coupling is aligned with a laser. The bearing unit is assembled in a closed area to protect it from dust. What’s more, we document and store the detailed data of each product that leaves our Aurolzmünster production site.

Test stand


Comprehensive performance monitoring
Every Scheuch COMPONENTS product driven by an electric motor is tested in-house before delivery. We have two test stands for fans – one for fans up to 75 kW and one for fans up to 710 kW. In the case of rotary valves, the tests include checking for correct gap dimensions or whether the electric motor is functioning properly.

Technical centre


Driving innovations forward
The Scheuch Group’s central R&D department develops the technologies of the future and optimizes existing products. For this purpose, it has an in-house technical centre including a test laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment.

Packaging & shipping


Perfect team play
As early as the product design stage, we are already thinking about packaging. Our individual components are manufactured in the perfect size for transport to ensure cost-effective transport logistics. Depending on the transport route and means, we pack our products in standard packaging, crates or containers and, if necessary, take measures for overseas transport. Around 15,400 packages leave our Aurolzmünster production facility every year.

STAGE blue training centre


Continuous development
Our STAGE blue training centre sees 20 apprentices starting their apprenticeships every year, resulting in a current total of 70 apprentices. They can choose between 12 different professions, both in production and in office roles. Their apprenticeship training consists of a step-by-step plan and includes both practical and theoretical lessons.
