Be it plastics, building materials or water: Sustainable resource management solutions are essential for environmental and climate protection – and can be found at IFAT Munich. The World’s Leading Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management took place from 30 May to 3 June 2022 in Munich. The sheer number of exhibitors (2,984) and visitors (around 119,000) confirmed that this fair is the most important platform for environmental technologies.
“A huge exhibition, concentrated knowledge transfer, networking – IFAT Munich 2022 served as pure inspiration and is driving the sustainable transformation of industries and climate-resilient communities,” says Stefan Rummel, Managing Director of Messe München.
The Scheuch team, including Martin Herzog, Ingo Sobotta (Scheuch COMPONENTS) and Stefan Kronberger (Scheuch GmbH), informed the trade fair visitors all about the Scheuch Group’s range of products and services. In line with this year’s focus on environmental technologies for the future, Scheuch showcased both its OEC odour filter and RTO (regenerative thermal oxidation).
What’s more, Scheuch COMPONENTS took part in the IFAT supporting programme on both Thursday and Friday. During the VDMA solution tour, Martin Herzog demonstrated the OEC odour filter solutions directly at the booth. Leonhard Zeilinger and Helmut Gallhammer presented a lecture on invisible emissions (odours and sounds) on the Innovation Stage.
Visitor numbers were particularly high in the middle of the week and representatives from various industrial sectors showed a special interest in the Scheuch Group products.
IFAT Munich covered a total of 260,000 square meters, occupying all 18 halls and a large part of Messe München’s outdoor area. 2,984 exhibitors from 59 countries and regions (2018: 3,305/58) and around 119,000 visitors from 155 countries and regions (2018: 142,472/162) travelled to Munich. Half of the exhibitors and visitors came from abroad. In comparison with the previous event, there were notable absences from China and Russia in particular.
