Dampers from Scheuch COMPONENTS:
reliable control of gas flows
CONTROL DAMPERS FOR RELIABLE CONTROL OF GAS FLOWS
Dampers from Scheuch COMPONENTS allow gas flows to be controlled in a safe and reliable manner. By restricting the flows, they can be adapted to the specific operating conditions of the industrial system in question.
The flow-optimized design of the damper profiles allows them to be used at high flow speeds, as the control elements cause very little turbulence.

Maintenance-free, high-quality and individually customizable
Scheuch COMPONENTS dampers are equipped with high-quality, solid-lubricated plain bearings which do not require maintenance. Furthermore, the plain bearings feature a low coefficient of friction and good chemical resistance, and can be used across a wide temperature range up to a maximum of 300 °C.
Dampers with multiple blades are constructed with angle joints which feature low-backlash force transmission and, like the plain bearings, are maintenance-free.
Various options for damper/valve/flap control
As in the case of pendulum flaps and other industrial dampers/valves/flaps from Scheuch COMPONENTS, our dampers can be operated in a number of different ways. Depending on the system in question, it may be possible to use an electric drive as an alternative to manual operation, and a pneumatic system may also be implemented in certain cases.
Stable damper/valve/flap casings made of sheet steel
The control elements from Scheuch COMPONENTS are housed in stable damper/valve/flap casings made from high-quality sheet steel with fixed round flanges or square frames. Both versions comply with the relevant DIN standards and can therefore be integrated directly into pipe or channel systems. If custom solutions are required, we will happily work in close collaboration with our customers to develop products that are perfectly tailored to their specific needs. For example, Scheuch COMPONENTS has previously produced butterfly valves with a diameter of 5.3 metres.
