How does the Scheuch COMPONENTS OEC odour filter for industrial plants work?
Depending on the intensity of the odour emissions and the size of the hall, the Scheuch OEC system is equipped with one or more biofilters which extract and clean the polluted air. Microorganisms contained in the filter’s bulk material ensure that odours are eliminated and the air is dehumidified. In a second step, a downstream duct filter removes dust and other particles from the air. A fan conveys the clean air through an active-carbon filter – which is integrated in the exhaust-air system – and into an exhaust pipe which then dissipates the odourless and clean air into the environment.
Using valve, damper or flap controls stops any odours from escaping through the hall gate. When a gate is opened, a valve/damper/flap control ensures that the extraction capacity is automatically increased at that location.
