Horizontal screw discharges for a wide range of materials
Precise forced feed and hydraulic drive for smooth conveying processesOur horizontal screw dischargers are installed in the centre of the silo. A forced feed movement causes the screws to move horizontally above the silo floor and store the discharged chips in the lower section, which is used as an intermediate container. The discharge screws are controlled by level indicators and fed to the screw conveyors via an agitator in the intermediate container.
A hydraulic unit and hydraulic cylinders provide the hydraulic feed movement. The base plate is customised with connecting flanges for additional screw conveyors.

Efficient inclined screw discharge system for silos
Versatile solution for chips, wood chips and shavingsOur inclined screw discharge system offers an efficient solution for silos with a diameter of up to six metres and can be used for discharging chips, wood chips and shavings. The raceway with moulded pipe supports on the outer edge of the silo ensures stable installation on the silo floor. The discharge screw with welded-on screw helix and ripper teeth is connected by a universal joint to the powerful spur gear motor, which is securely fastened to the mounting plate. The downstream screw conveyor is filled via the discharge chute. The raceway can be individually adapted to the silo diameter.
Choose between two designs: the straight installation plate and the hopper design, depending on your requirements and preferences. You can optimise your operating processes efficiently and reliably with our inclined screw discharge system.
Our inclined screw discharge systems equipped with a straight mounting plate offer a stable solution tailored to your requirements. The spur gear is mounted on the silo floor with moulded pipe supports and a raceway and ensures efficient discharge via the discharge chute.
Efficient material discharge with our moving floor discharge systems
Robust design, precision hydraulic drive and reliable monitoring for smooth material flowsDiscover our high-quality moving floor discharge systems for efficient material discharge from silos or bunker rooms. Our robust substructures are securely fastened to the level concrete floor using heavy-duty anchors and are then embedded. Depending on the size and height of the bunker, we can offer customised solutions featuring one or more push rods. Each push rod is made of a welded moulded tube design with wings screwed onto the side for optimised performance. The hydraulic drive, consisting of a hydraulic unit and one hydraulic cylinder per push rod, ensures reliable material transport to the cross conveyor screw. The level in the screw trough is monitored by a level indicator (light barriers). Our cross conveyor screw transports the material from the end of the push rods to other screw conveyors and is equipped with a galvanised sheet metal cover to ensure maximum durability.
Moving floor discharge systems offer several advantages over screw discharge systems:
- No mechanical drive parts in the fuel
- Not affected by fuel size and moisture content
- Arching can be practically ruled out
Our moving floor discharge systems can be perfectly integrated with horizontal trough conveyors to ensure efficient material transfer. Thanks to the precise design and optimised coordination of these systems, we can ensure smooth conveying without the risk of overfilling.
Customised solutions allow us to handle a wide range of applications. We can also customise the length of the trough conveyor and the mode of operation of the vertical conveyor (push or pull).
Articulated arm discharges for smooth operating processes
Direct drive through a gear unit equipped with a dust-tight cover for optimum performanceOur high-quality articulated arm discharge systems for silo or bunker rooms with a diameter of up to six metres are ideal for discharging sawdust, wood chips and wood shavings. The Scheuch COMPONENTS solution features two robust, automatically folding articulated arms with internal tension springs that provide a small clearing radius.
The drive units are equipped with specially developed discharge gearboxes, which offer high torque and effectively prevent dust and chips from entering the system thanks to a special seal. This enables independent operation without a discharge spiral, particularly during the filling process. In connection with the discharge trough with shaftless spiral, this can considerably shorten the running time.
