New paint system for durable plants
Corrosion protection according to EN ISO 12944Tested by OFI, developed with Rembrandt: Scheuch presents an innovative coating system that guarantees standard-compliant surface protection also in demanding operational environments.
Standard-compliant surface protection for industrial use
Scheuch expands its portfolio in the area of corrosion protection with a new, standard-compliant paint system for steel surfaces. It is based on EN ISO 12944 “Corrosion protection of steel structures through coating systems”, to which all coating classifications refer.
Comprehensively tested quality
All coating variants from C2 to C5 have been intensively tested by OFI (Austrian Research Institute for Chemistry and Technology). The salt spray tests, condensation water tests, adhesive tensile tests successfully demonstrated the stability of the painting. Independent certification confirms that the systems reliably fulfil the requirements also in the case that individual adjustments are made to coating thicknesses.
The new coating system was developed together with the paint manufacturer Rembrandt.
Optimal for demanding operational environments
The new corrosion protection system is particularly suited for production and plant areas where steel components are subjected to medium loads due to humidity, temperature and air impurities. Thanks to an optimized system architecture, the required protection can already be achieved with one coating layer – an advantage that can be implemented without compromising on quality or durability.
